Stretched Volkswagen Beetles are as commonplace on eBay as Pontiac Fiero-based fake Ferraris and Porsche 356 Speedster replicas. So what makes this example so special? Well for one it’s a convertible, and a real one at that, with a canvas roof that’s sure to sag and then collapse from the weight of the water on it when it rains.
It also has a bar made out of the same polished wood as the cheapest of community centre pianos and burgundy leather L-shaped bench seat. It also has burgundy and silver paintwork and a wide body kit, which is sure to make you stand out from the crowd.

Smart Fortwo: Stretched to the Limits, Hearse Version Coming Soon…

To be precise, UK limo specialist Carbonyte took a Smart Fortwo and stretched its chassis by 106.2 inches (2700mm) to create a 17 feet long vehicle (5100 mm) - about the size of a Mercedes-Benz S-Class. According to the UK firm, despite growing twice its normal length (2695mm), the Smart’s new lightweight alloy chassis allows the vehicle to be powered by its original 600cc engine and still reach motorway speeds of 80mph. In all, the build process took 300 man hours over four weeks from the initial chassis cut to the final paintwork.
The prototype model you see in the pictures was designed as a promotional vehicle, featuring a 20:1 scale fibre-glass replica soft drinks can, complete with ring-pull, which serves as van-like storage space for promotional items. The stretched Smart Fortwo can be liveried to any client’s design choice and hired on a daily basis or it can be manufactured outright at a projected cost of around £25,000 or approx $49,400.
We know it’s eerie, but Carbonyte is also looking to take the stretched Fortwo into the funeral industry by using the latest electric technology to produce an individual yet environmentally-friendly hearse. 1986 Honda Accord Stretch Limousine

We imagine that with some serious TLC (Tender Love & Care…) this 1986 Honda Accord stretch limousine could look pretty cool as you don’t see one of these cars on the road every day. The Accord limo was built by Marquise Coach Works in Canoga Park ,California and it has clocked 102,000 miles. According to the seller, it has been in storage since 2002, which isn’t the best thing that can happen to a car. -More pictures after the jump

eBay: Chevrolet Corvette C6 Limousine

We might disagree with the whole concept of transforming a Corvette into a limo for high-school kids or the newly rich, but we have to admit that the 220’’ C5 with the gullwing doors in the middle has not match when it comes to impressing the crowds. Street Legal Boeing 727 Jet Limo Sold On eBay!

What will they think of next (a NASA space shuttle limo maybe…)! Believe it or not, but some guy found the idea of transforming a Boeing 727 jet airplane into a humongous and utterly crazy limousine, totally reasonable. Using the chassis and running gear of a Mercedes-Benz bus, the Boeing 727 Jet Limo is street legal –or at least that’s what the ebay seller supports. Weighing in at 24,000 pounds, the Limo is equipped with a dance floor, big screen TV, fireplace, and full bar. Lazer lights, fog machine, strobe lighting and “aerodynamic seats” are also on the menu. VW MicroBus Limousine

This 60’s MicroBus limousine made a special appearance at the VW Bus Exhibition in Hanover earlier this month (October 5 to 9) to celebrate the Microbus’ 60th anniversary. We don’t know any specific details about the MicroBus stretched limo but it certainly goes down as one heck of a cool car in our books.
