Futuristic engine cover for DaimlerChrysler V8’s

When you open up the hood of your car, you want to be aesthetically proud of what’s hidden beneath. While this new engine cover from MAHLE that uses BASF’s Ultramid B3WG6 GP (a polyamide 6 reinforced with 30 percent glass fibres) for DaimlerChrysler’s V8 motors does well in terms of abstract art with its clean, futuristic looks, it doesn’t tell me anything whatsoever about the engine itself. Technologically advanced yes, but for all I know, this could be the all-new 2010 Batship. This material combines the aspects of a particularly high resistance to bursting pressure with very good dimensional stability, while its surface characteristics allow the creation of aesthetically pleasing products.
