Honda has offered seven-time Formula 1 Champion Michael Schumacher a ride in the 2009 World Superbike Championship according to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport. "Michael is convinced that the German championship is ideal for him at the moment," Honda Racing's Carlo Fiorani told the Italian newspaper. "Up until now, he has not asked us to race in the 2009 World Superbike Championship. But if he wants to, there's a motorcycle waiting for him. All he has to do is ask us," stated Carlo Fiorani.The 39-year old retired F1 champion has already taken part in Germany's leading bike racing series, the IDM Superbike championship as well as making a number of appearances in other two-wheel races so don't be surprised if you see him next year riding one of Honda's superbikes in the world championship.
