Volkswagen has released further images of the 2008 Touareg R50 which was unveiled at the 2007 Sydney Motor Show on Oct. 11. The R50 is VW’s third “R” model after the Golf R32 and Passat R36. and it’s equipped with supped up version of VW’s 5.0-liter V10 turbodiesel unit that delivers an output of 350 Hp allowing it to sprint from standstill to 100 km/h – 62 mph in 6,7 sec.
