Redesigned Chrysler Grand Voyager MPV Reaches UK Shores

Chrysler’s facelifted for the 2011 model year Town & Country has arrived in Britain as the revised Grand Voyager. Different name aside, the UK market model features the same styling revisions as its American counterpart, including a redesigned nose, LED tail lamps, new rear bumper and revised tailgate on the outside, and a restyled dashboard and steering wheel on the inside.

However, instead of the new 283HP 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, the Grand Voyager is offered exclusively with 2.8-litre CRD diesel engine producing 161bhp at 3800rpm and 265lb ft of torque.

2009 VW Routan: Chrysler Based Minivan Coming to Chicago Show in February

Volkswagen announced that at the upcoming Chicago Show in February, it will show for the first time in public, a new minivan called the Routan. The midsize vehicle has been jointly developed with Chrysler LLC and it will be built in the Canadian Chrysler factory in Windsor, Ontario. When VW’s says “jointly-developed”, it means that the Routan is based on Chrysler’s Town and Country minivan. However, the German carmaker states that both the interior and the exterior of the 7-seater Routan will follow the company’s design concept. Hopefully, VW’s proposition won’t look like the photoshop we made… Picture: rezza foournitoSource URL: http://sparesomeribs.blogspot.com/search/label/Chrysler%20Town%20Country

SEMA Show: Chrysler Town & Country Black Jack

Chrysler let out the first images of the 2008 Town & Country Black Jack ahead of the customized MPV’s SEMA Show premiere on October 30. The American carmaker insists that the Town & Country Black Jack draws its inspiration from the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas. I happen to stay at the pyramid-themed Luxor Hotel in 2006 and honestly, I can’t say that I see any resemblance, but whatev.

The Black Jack sits on one-off 20-in. wheels tucked around a set of Brembo SRT brakes and matched with an adjusted ride height. The van’s body is covered in a custom Amber-Black Pearl paint with the hood featuring a ghosted "Black Jack" decal while chrome accents complement the billet-style grill. Inside the Black Jack gets LED lighting, dual panoramic-style roof openings while a leather- wrapped curved bench replaces the third-row seats. -Continued after the jump

As you’d expect, the Town & Country Black Jack is equipped with a high-end entertainment system that features two KICKER 10-in. L7 sub woofers tied to a 1250-watt amplifier, two pairs of 6-in. speakers and a four-channel 700-4 amplifier combined with rear-mounted 37-in. LCD flat screen and two 7-in. overhead monitors. The latter are connected to three hidden overhead digital cameras so forget about cheating...
